We are very excited to announce that Facilities has a new service request system, aptly titled the "Facilities Service Request System."
Think about the last time you requested service from the Facilities Department. Maybe you requested the sink in your residence hall fixed, the lights to your office repaired or needed a wall painted. From the moment you put in the request, a process begins through Work Control, the service department, your building representatives and yourself. We understand it is important for you to know when and how your request will be fulfilled.
This system allows for requesters to see real-time updates on the status of their work order. Once the request reaches our Work Control office, it will be assigned to the appropriate service department to fulfill your request. The technician who visits your residence hall or office will be able to take photos and leave notes for your information.
Additional new benefits from this system include having access to request service from anywhere, including your phone, no login required and you may attach a picture or document with your request.
UNT Facilities is confident this new system will make the process of submitting work order seamless and efficient. The Facilities Service Request System is now live today, March 1st.
Step 1: Go to facilities.unt.edu. Click on the Request Service button.
Step 2: Select your campus, building, and area.
Step 3: Enter your contact info and request.
Step 4: Receive notifications. You will receive email updates as the status of your work order changes.
