The University of North Texas has 176 facilities across more than 1,000 acres of land spread across the Dallas-Ft Worth Metroplex. Our department is responsible for most of the services that are provided for the maintenance and daily operation of these facilities. Housed in our department are the following teams: Information Services; Maintenance; Planning, Design & Construction; Space Planning & Management; and Support & Services.
Facilities Leadership
Jeff Brown
Associate Vice President of Facilities
Jeff oversees the Facilities department, which includes more than 300 staff members
offering service to UNT's campus in Denton, Discovery Park, UNT Frisco, the Kristin
Farmer Autism Center and other associated properties.
Cassandra Nash
Senior Director of Planning, Design & Construction
Facilities Planning, Design and Construction manages all construction, renovations,
and infrastructure upgrades at UNT. This team is a resource for planning, estimating,
design, and construction implementation services.
Hilary Liscano
Senior Director of Support & Services
Facilities Support & Services operates the service call center, tracks project and
maintenance workloads, manages budgets, maintains the university vehicle fleet, oversees
asset stores, provides safety training, and more.
Peter Palacios
Director of Information Services
Facilities Information Services curates official campus data, maps, and information in support of UNT’s strategic planning and operations.
Andy Bolling
Director of Space Planning & Management
Space Planning & Management provides strategic expertise reviewing and approving space
allocations and reallocations, maintaining space-related policies, and managing and
reporting space data for all 8 million square feet of space at UNT in Denton, Discovery
Park, Frisco, and outlying properties.
Vince Stippec
Associate Director of Facilities Maintenance
Facilities Maintenance staff are stewards of UNT’s built environment. They maintain
campus buildings, address any needed repairs, and manage projects that improve functional
and structural components of buildings.
Luke Taylor
Assistant Director of Facilities Maintenance
Facilities Maintenance also takes care of all residence and dining halls, plus handles
all landscaping and custodial services to provide a clean, functional, and safe environment
for living, learning, and research.
