Restoration continues at Chilton Hall following the water line break last Friday. Drying operations will continue through this week. Portions of the building will reopen tomorrow, however, a sizeable portion will remain closed through Sunday, April 29. Faculty and staff will be notified by their department if they can access the building tomorrow.
Access will be through the Chestnut Street doors only.
Classes on the third floor will resume tomorrow. Classes on the first and second floor will be held in alternate buildings. Faculty will advise their students on the alternate locations.
The cooperation of faculty, students and staff has been outstanding while teams have worked to remove water and residual moisture on three floors of the building and continued patience is greatly appreciated. More information will be provided later this week on the restoration and access to the remainder of the building.
