This work unit operates and maintains UNT's energy management system (EMS). The EMS controls the operation of the central heating and air conditioning systems in most campus facilities.
We operate air conditioning and heating systems to maintain comfortable conditions for the occupants while minimizing energy waste. For example, we shut down systems when buildings are vacant. Our shop operates and maintains control field equipment related to EMS on campus.
If you have building temperature problems, contact this group by calling the phone number listed above. Technicians respond to hot/cold calls and air quality issues campus-wide.
The monthly Construction Obstruction Report shows you where and when to expect construction on campus.
